1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise you, remember your choices or measure its audience.

We use the term "cookie" in a broad sense: it also covers the equivalent technologies used in the mobile application, local storage, third-party SDKs, advertising identifiers and pixels, which perform the same functions.

2. Your consent

On the kanchara.com site, a banner appears on your first visit. It allows you to:

Strictly necessary cookies are placed without consent, as they are essential for the site to work. All others are placed only after your explicit agreement.

Your choice is kept for 6 months. You can change it at any time via the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

In the mobile application, no advertising cookie or targeting tracker is used. The SDKs described in §4 are either strictly necessary for operation, or subject to your consent during onboarding (audience measurement).
